ICC 2019 Men’s World T20 2021 fixture announced

The ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2021 in UAE and Oman will begin on 17 October and the Final is set to play in Dubai on November 14th.


The ICC announced the schedule for the marquee competition on the 17th of August, Tuesday. Here’s everything you should be aware of.

Round 1


The tournament will kick off by playing the round 1 Group B match with the hosts Oman as well as Papua New Guinea at 2 pm local time on the 17th of October and will be followed by Scotland and Bangladesh as the other teams from Group B, playing in the final match of the evening at 6 pm.


Ireland, Netherlands, Sri Lanka, and Namibia which form group A The group will play at Abu Dhabi the next day, and Round 1 games running until 22 October. Two teams that are the top from each group will move on into the Super12 stage of the tournament which will begin on October 23rd.




The second phase of the tournament – known as the Super12 stage which will begin with a match in Abu Dhabi on 23 October beginning with the Group 1 contest between Australia and South Africa. The match will follow by a match in the evening against England as well as West Indies in Dubai.


The old enemies England well as Australia will battle in Dubai on October 30. The group will be concluded on November 6 with games against Australia as well as West Indies in Abu Dhabi as well as England as well as South Africa in Sharjah.


Group 2 will begin with a hefty clash against India with Pakistan in Dubai on October 24 around 6 PM local time. Pakistan will next face New Zealand in Sharjah on 26 October, an uphill beginning for the champions of 2009. The marquee game in the competition will be held in Dubai at 6 pm local time on November 14th on a Sunday. Monday will be serving as the reserve day to host the championship.
